Simple, but the background works. I'd say....next time maybe give the buildings some texture. Show part of a brick here & there maybe? 
'Course I'm not the one to be giving background advice, I don't do many backgrounds....
I really like the girl, though. Goddess-type... The facelessness is a good touch.
